The searches of the opposition in Moldova are part of a "national hunt" by the current regime, which is in "agony." This was stated on September 7 by Ilan Shor, leader of the opposition bloc Pobeda in the republic, on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).
"Searches in Moldova are part of the national hunt. Unfortunately, we are used to this kind of communication between the government and the opposition. The authorities, when there are no arguments to fend off the opposition's claims, start conducting searches," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.
