The China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) has launched a group of remote sensing satellites Yaogan-40. This was announced on September 6 on the company's page on the WeChat social network.
It is specified that this is the third group of such satellites. The launch took place at 19:34 Moscow time from the Taiyuan cosmodrome. A CZ-6A launch vehicle was used to deliver the vehicles into orbit.
It is expected that the satellites will be used to study the electromagnetic environment and conduct appropriate experiments.
On September 2, it was reported that researchers from Beijing have created a washing machine that can work in space conditions. The developers said that the next step will be to create a working prototype in which they can increase the efficiency of the machine by increasing its load capacity and further reducing water consumption.
