Ex-dispatcher of GBU Zhilishchnik was detained for financing terrorism
The former dispatcher of GBU Zhilishchnik in the Zyuzino district, Tatyana Shuvalova (listed as a terrorist in the Russian Federation), was accused of financing terrorist activities by members of the Artillery Preparation group banned in Russia. This was reported on September 6 by TASS with reference to the case file.
It is noted that the person involved was detained by law enforcement officers while trying to leave the territory of the Russian Federation.
"When making the transfer of funds, [Shuvalova] realized that they would be used to ensure the illegal activities of members of the terrorist organization Artillery Preparation, as well as their commission of terrorist crimes," the document says.
Shuvalova was charged under Part 1.1 of Article 205.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Financing of terrorism"). She is currently in custody, and she will also be checked for involvement in other crimes.
On September 4, a court in Yekaterinburg arrested a local resident involved in the activities of the Russian Volunteer Corps organization (RDK, an organization banned in the Russian Federation and recognized as a terrorist organization). A criminal case has been opened under Part 1 of Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Public calls for terrorist activities, public justification of terrorism or propaganda of terrorism").
