The Central Bank of the Russian Federation will ensure the transition to the widespread use of the digital ruble. This was announced on September 6 by Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia and Executive Secretary of the organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).
"The Central Bank, together with the government, must ensure the transition to the widespread use of the digital ruble," he said.
