Mushroom expert and mycologist Maxim Dyakov called for collecting only familiar mushrooms so as not to encounter poisoning and trouble with the law.

In conversation with aif.ru On Thursday, September 4, the specialist reminded that picking mushrooms is prohibited in nature conservation areas, including all parks in Moscow.

The mycologist noted that there are many poisonous mushrooms with different toxins and different effects, so you should only take those that you can be absolutely sure of. This approach helps to avoid accidental collection of red book species, for which a fine is provided.

The expert added that in the Moscow region there are now summer mushrooms — podberezoviki, chanterelles, butterflyfish. According to him, the season of autumn honey mushrooms has already begun, as well as the fruiting of late apple mushrooms, such as mushrooms and volnushki.

Earlier that day, mycologist Nikita Komissarov predicted the harvest of porcini mushrooms in the Moscow region. The expert noted that the current weather conditions are favorable for mushroom growth: it rains and humidity persists. According to him, in the forests near Moscow, one can expect a good harvest of chanterelles and porcini mushrooms, which are beginning to appear en masse, writes 360.ru . Traditionally, the southeastern regions in the direction of Ryazan and Kolomna are considered the most "mushroom" places in the region, RT notes. They also often go to the vicinity of Bitsevsky Forest Park and Troparevo for mushrooms, the website clarifies. kp.ru .

In late August, lawyer Ilya Rusyaev warned that Russians could receive a fine of up to 3 million rubles and imprisonment for picking mushrooms if the species were listed in the Red Book. According to him, the collection of species listed in the Red Book may result in a fine of 2.5 thousand to 5 thousand rubles with confiscation of the collected.

On August 25, mycologist Maxim Dyakov advised picking only porcini mushrooms or chanterelles, or taking an experienced mushroom picker with you. In an interview with NSN, he said that different poisonous mushrooms contain different toxins, so the symptoms, course of poisoning and treatment methods, including possible antidotes, are very different. That is why it is worth collecting only those mushrooms that a person is sure of.
