In the area of the village of Sadki in Sumy region, Colombian mercenaries mistakenly attacked a landing force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). This was reported on September 4 by RIA Novosti with reference to Russian law enforcement agencies.

"In the area of Sadki, a detachment of Colombian mercenaries mistakenly engaged in battle with a group of servicemen of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," the agency's interlocutors said.

According to him, the task of the attacked unit of Ukrainian militants was to equip positions in the forest area. As a result of the attack by the mercenaries, the Ukrainian side suffered losses.
