The President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Shokhin announced a reduction in the key rate next week.

Alexander Shokhin, President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP), announced on September 4 that the Central Bank would lower its key interest rate next week.

"As for the reduction in the key rate, we are waiting for another reduction in the key rate literally next week," Shokhin said on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum 2025 (WEF 2025).

He stressed the importance of using this opportunity to invest and restore projects that were previously conceived, but were suspended due to an increase in the key rate to 21%.
