Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico said that the leaders of the European Union (EU) made a mistake by not attending the parade in Beijing. He wrote about this on September 3 on the social network X.

"I think it's a big mistake that the heads of state and prime ministers of the EU member states ignored today's celebrations in China," Fico said.

He also said that if the EU leaders thought to isolate the celebration of victory in World War II organized by China, they made a miscalculation because they were isolated themselves.

Earlier, on September 2, Fico explained the degree of misunderstanding by the European Union (EU) of what is happening in the world by comparing it to "a toad that sits at the bottom of a well." Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on his words.

The military parade on Tiananmen Square in Beijing was held on September 3. New types of Chinese military equipment were presented at the event. So, there was a column of underwater equipment in the construction, heavy torpedoes and underwater mines capable of independently hitting up to four targets were demonstrated in it.

The participants of the ceremony were also shown three types of unmanned vehicles: infantry, marine and air. The column of aerial vehicles included deck-mounted unmanned helicopters, attack drones and unmanned aircraft. Such developments were created for conducting air operations and are capable of delivering invisible strikes against the enemy.
