An earthquake of magnitude 5.0 occurred in Kamchatka. This was reported on September 3 in the Telegram channel of the press service of the Kamchatka branch of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The seismic event occurred 233 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. It is specified that the earthquake was located at a depth of 45 km.
