The court seized 41 billion rubles worth of property from the ex-head of the government of the KCR Kaishev

The Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow has satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and recovered assets of the former head of the government of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic Vladimir Kaishev worth more than 41 billion rubles in favor of the state. This was reported on September 3 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

The Pyatigorsk Dairy Plant, Elizaveta-Mineralnye Vody LLC, Nasib LLC, which manages the Pyatigorsk Hippodrome, as well as the agricultural company Selo named after G.V. Kaishev, were turned into state revenue. In addition, 35 non-residential buildings, 67 land plots, several apartments, houses and cars have been transferred to state ownership.

According to a source in Izvestia, according to the Prosecutor General's Office, the former head of the Government of the KCR extracted information about the financial and economic condition of enterprises during his civil service and engaged in commercial activities both directly and through his acquaintances.

Then Kaishev seized the property he was interested in from public ownership in order to re-register them into his own property or transfer them to friends and relatives. For example, Kaishev's daughter became the owner of 54 plots of land, and his brother Yuri received ownership of 100% of the shares of an agricultural company.

In addition, in the period from 2003 to 2012, the former head of the Government of the KCR created several organizations to circumvent anti-corruption legislation, took control of a sanatorium and a hippodrome.

Earlier, on August 15, Vyacheslav Akhmedov, ex-director of the Patriot Park, was sentenced to five years for fraud and fined 300 thousand rubles. The court also decided to recover 25 million rubles from the former head of the park in damages. He was taken into custody in the courtroom.
