The Interior Ministry announced attempts by fraudsters to force Russians to call unfamiliar numbers.

Scammers are trying to force Russians to initiate a call to unknown numbers on their own. This was announced on September 3 by the Department for the Organization of the fight against the illegal use of information and communication technologies (UBK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation.

"The most popular trick of scammers in recent months is to force a citizen to initiate a call on his own," the department's Telegram channel says.
