Sobyanin spoke about the construction of an educational complex in the Danilovsky district

A large educational complex is under construction in the Danilovsky district of Moscow. According to the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, the building on Dubininskaya Street will house a school for 720 children and a kindergarten for 175 places.

As the mayor noted in his channel on MAX, the two buildings of the educational complex will resemble an open book. The school will have classrooms, laboratory and research complexes (engineering and natural sciences), two halls for events, an IT training ground and a dining hall. The kindergarten, designed for seven groups, will have, in particular, music and physical education halls.

"The building will be fully adapted for children with disabilities," Sobyanin said. — Shade canopies, playgrounds and sports grounds will be installed on the territory of the complex. Trees and shrubs will also be planted."

All work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026, the mayor added.

At the end of August, Sergei Sobyanin announced that 34 new schools and kindergartens would be opened in Moscow by the beginning of the new academic year. "We mostly open them in areas of new buildings, where there are always a lot of young families with children," the mayor said. In particular, two kindergartens for 320 children will be opened in one of the residential quarters in Kommunarka, where 14 residential buildings have been built. According to the mayor, a new educational complex, which became part of school No. 109, is also starting work there. The three-storey building with an area of 31.4 thousand square meters has created a comfortable and safe space for 1,275 schoolchildren and 350 preschoolers.

The school has classrooms, a laboratory and research complex, an IT training ground and a media library. In addition, the building has sound and video recording studios, a two-story dining room, an art workshop, a school theater and a planetarium.
