Modernization of infrastructure on the Bakhchisarai-Yalta highway continues in Crimea. The work is aimed at strengthening the slopes and improving safety on the highway, according to the social networks of the head of the Council of Ministers of the Republic, Yuri Gotsanyuk.

Drilling and concrete works are currently underway at the facility, and soil is being removed. Specialists have already drilled 36 wells and immersed spatial frames in them, concreted piles with a total volume of more than 500 cubic meters.

Also, the territory was cleared on the sections of the highway — trees and shrubs were cut down. The retaining walls are manually excavated and the old parapet structures are dismantled.

Earlier, there were delays in the schedule at the facilities, but the comments are being promptly eliminated. Gotsanyuk set the task to install drilling piles by October 25, writes IA SevastopolMedia.

Earlier it was reported that the bridge over the railway tracks from Petrovka to Krasnogvardeyskoye will be temporarily closed in Crimea for repairs. The restrictions will come into effect on August 23. The detour is organized through a railway crossing in the village of Krasny Partizan.
