The operators of unmanned aerial vehicles of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed two artillery pieces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the area of a special military operation (SVO). This was announced on September 3 by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

"The operators of the FPV drones of the Southern Group of Forces destroyed a self-propelled artillery installation (ACS. - Ed.) "Acacia" and the D-20 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kramatorsk-Druzhkovsky area of the SVR," the ministry said.

It is specified that the enemy howitzer was discovered during counter-battery warfare. At the same time, the ACS was detected thanks to aerial reconnaissance equipment in one of the forest belts.

After receiving the coordinates of the targets, the drone operators struck them accurately, the Defense Ministry concluded.
