On August 25, US President Donald Trump announced that the United States had stopped spending on the Ukrainian conflict. According to him, the United States no longer pays Ukraine any money, but sells weapons to NATO. On August 26, the Financial Times newspaper reported that Western states want to create three lines of defense in Ukraine as part of the conflict settlement.
