Czech ex-Prime Minister Babis cancelled his work program after the attack.

On September 2, former Czech Prime Minister Andrei Babis announced that he had canceled his work program after being hit in the head with a crutch from behind at an election rally of the Action of Dissatisfied Citizens movement (ANO), which he led.

"The doctors recommended rest for me. Therefore, unfortunately, I will have to cancel my program for at least tomorrow," he wrote on his page on the social network X (ex. Twitter).
