Britain is assessing the level of readiness of troops in case of deployment in Ukraine.

The UK is assessing the combat readiness of its troops in case of their possible deployment on the territory of Ukraine. This was announced on September 1 by British Defense Minister John Healey during a speech in the lower house of parliament.

"As for the armed forces, I am conducting an assessment of the readiness level and accelerating [allocation] of funding to prepare for any possible deployment," he said.

He also announced the development of a joint concept with France for a possible mission of the so-called "coalition of the willing" in Ukraine. According to the official, action plans in case of a ceasefire in Ukraine are being developed with the participation of more than 200 military specialists from 30 countries.
