Private Buslaev used a UAV to destroy a mortar position of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Private Alexey Buslaev, as part of an emergency crew of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), continued to search for firing points of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and eliminate them under enemy artillery fire. The Russian Ministry of Defense on Tuesday, September 2, told about the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation.

Continuing to inspect the area during the battle, Buslaev noticed a camouflaged mortar position, towards which a truck with ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine was moving. After waiting for the vehicle to approach the target, the private struck it with a drone. The cargo detonated, and a mortar crew came within range. As a result, an enemy truck, a set of ammunition, a mortar cannon and part of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the professionalism and determination of Sergeant Alexander Karakchiev, who commanded a motorized rifle platoon and carried out the task of rotating military personnel in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).

While moving to a defensive position, a group of the Russian Armed Forces was attacked by an enemy crew of an automatic grenade launcher. Karakchiev promptly organized a shelter to protect the personnel, and then calculated the approximate coordinates of the location of the APU cannon based on the direction of fire. The data was transferred to the mortar crew, which destroyed the enemy's grenade launcher in a short time, along with the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Karakchiev group continued to complete the task and successfully gained a foothold in new positions.

The Russian Armed Forces use "infiltration" tactics and disrupt enemy rotations

Earlier, on September 1, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that Guard Junior Sergeant Vasili Zvonov, as part of the crew of a 122-millimeter D-30 howitzer, using a drone, detected the approach of the AFU FPV drones. He informed the command and worked together with the gun cover group, personally destroying three FPV drones with accurate shots.

Prior to that, on August 31, the Ministry of Defense announced that the gunners of the Vostok group of forces of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation had destroyed the control points of the UAV of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Artillery crews struck high-explosive shells at the identified positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the village of Ivanovka. The control points located both in the forest belts and in the settlement were destroyed.
