The Ombudsman spoke about the condition of the child left in the toilet in Moscow

A newborn baby that a resident of Moscow gave birth to and left in the toilet is alive and well. This was announced on September 1 by the Commissioner for Children's Rights in the capital Olga Yaroslavskaya.

"Everything is fine with the child, he is alive and well," she told TASS.

According to the Ombudsman, the baby is currently in a medical facility. Yaroslavskaya clarified that according to the mother of the newborn boy, she did not want his death.

The day before, it was reported that a woman, while in an apartment building, gave birth to a baby and left it in the toilet. It was clarified that she could not finish the job because her roommate called an ambulance. A criminal case was opened into the incident under Part 3 of Article 30 of Article 106 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Attempted murder by the mother of a newborn child").
