- The biologist spoke about the beginning of a wave of sawdust in the forests of the capital region
A wave of sawdust is beginning in the forests of the capital region. Candidate of Biological Sciences Pavel Glazkov announced this on Monday, September 1.
"I recommend that before going into the forest, if you have little experience, then carefully study the videos and photos," he told the Moscow city news agency.
Glazkov noted that if the weather remains humid and warm, a mushroom boom can be expected.
"Now the moisture is not only due to the rains, but also due to the morning dew. Now there is a difference in temperatures, day and night. Due to this fluctuation, massive dew falls. Basically, it's already moisture. Therefore, it is enough now, if there is a warm autumn and Indian summer, then there will be mushrooms, and, in particular, honey mushrooms," the biologist concluded.
On August 31, Sofya Oleshkevich, a pediatrician at the Shumakov Center of the Russian Ministry of Health, said that at the first signs of mushroom poisoning in a child, such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, cough or difficulty breathing, an ambulance should be called immediately. 360.ru .
On August 29, lawyer Ilya Rusyaev said that Russians can receive a fine of up to 3 million rubles and imprisonment for picking mushrooms if the species are listed in the Red Book.
Rusyaev noted that the legislation allows Russians to collect wild mushrooms for free for their own needs on the lands of the forest fund, however, there are restrictions, RT reports. For example, citizens can be fined from 500 to 1 thousand rubles for illegal collection in specially protected natural areas. At the same time, ignorance of the status of the protected area will not exempt from payments, the lawyer noted.
In turn, Maxim Dyakov, a leading engineer at the Department of Mycology and Algology at the Faculty of Biology of Moscow State University, told NSN on August 25 that it is important to collect only those types of mushrooms that a person is sure of, otherwise the consequences of some poisonous species eaten may appear only after two weeks and lead to death.
