On Knowledge Day, Commander of the Baltic Fleet Sergey Lipilin noted the impeccable training and discipline of soldiers and graduates of the Admiral F.F. Ushakov Baltic Higher Naval School in Kaliningrad. Footage from the September 1 ceremony was published by the press service of the Charity Foundation.

Lipilin congratulated the faculty and cadets of the naval educational institution on the start of the new academic year and wished them new scientific and creative achievements.

"Soldiers and graduates of the college have always been distinguished by impeccable training, discipline, dedication to the naval brotherhood, and the ability to solve combat missions in any difficult conditions," Lipilin said.

He gave a lecture to the cadets on the prospects for the development of the Baltic Fleet, the use of its forces in modern conditions, and the participation of Baltic sailors in a special military operation. The commander also added that it is important to be a professional and the best specialist in your field.

A solemn meeting of the staff, honoring the teachers and summing up the results of the 2024-2025 academic year took place at the school's club.

The day before, the first school bell rang in the village of Kurakhovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) on September 1. This year, the school has accepted six first-graders, a total of 28 schoolchildren from nearby settlements in the DPR will study.
