Russian President Vladimir Putin and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin met on September 1 in China as part of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) summit.

Earlier in the day, Putin met with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the SCO.

The meetings of the leaders of the SCO member states began on September 1 at the Meijiang International Convention and Exhibition Center in the Chinese city of Tianjin.
