A solemn line-up for the Day of Knowledge was held at Moscow school No. 1367

On September 1, a solemn assembly dedicated to Knowledge Day took place at school No. 1367 in the Ryazan district of Moscow. The footage of the event is published by Izvestia.

"May this year be fruitful and joyful for everyone. <...> September 1 is the start of school life. For you, our first-graders, they are no longer toddlers, no longer kindergarten students, they are already schoolchildren, this is the very first step on the school ladder. <...> Happy holidays, dear guys!" — representatives of the administration made a welcoming speech.

The parents also shared their impressions and expectations with Izvestia. According to the mother of one of Tatiana's students, the child was very much waiting and preparing for a new stage in his life.

"It's actually a very exciting day, because I imagine myself going to first grade on September 1st again, for the second time. The first ruler, the first teacher, the first principal," said Pavel Solovyov, another parent.

Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated students of schools, universities, colleges, their parents, and teachers on Knowledge Day. He paid special attention to the students, for whom the first bell will ring today. The Head of State noted that on September 1, a new, responsible and exciting time will begin for all first-graders.
