The journal of the Eastern Economic Forum – 2025 has been published

The Roscongress Foundation has released the official journal of the tenth anniversary Eastern Economic Forum, which will be held from September 3-6, 2025 in Vladivostok. The WEF is organized by the Roscongress Foundation.

The publication in Russian and English is distributed on the Forum site, on Aeroflot flights on the Moscow– Vladivostok – Moscow route and by mailing list. The electronic version can be read on the official website of the Forum.

The theme of the issue repeats the WEF-2025 motto – "The Far East: cooperation for peace and Prosperity" – and sums up the ten-year development of the strategic territories of the Far East for Russia. Special attention is paid to the Forum itself as the most important discussion platform for developing solutions that will determine the future of the region for years to come.

In an interview with the publication, Alexey Chekunkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for the Development of the Far East and the Arctic, continues to talk about the results of the accelerated development of the region, focusing on government support mechanisms, investment policy, technological leadership, successes in social construction and demography.

Separate materials in the economic section are devoted to the largest projects in the Russian Far East, infrastructure construction, and the creation of transport corridors necessary for the economy. The infographic clearly shows how the region has changed over the past ten years.

Creative, strong people are behind the economic achievements of the Far East. The magazine's articles introduce readers to young entrepreneurs who create original products and brands, from unusual children's construction kits to concrete ornaments and unique cosmetics; they tell about local animation studios that have already become popular with Russian and foreign audiences.

The Jubilee WEF is held in the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War, and the historical section is devoted to this topic.

In the entertainment section of the magazine, you can read about the best European cuisine restaurants in Vladivostok, about the tourist routes of Sakhalin and the picturesque islands scattered around Peter the Great Bay, as well as about the everyday life of an environmental protection inspector in one of the most deserted cordons of the Kronotsky Nature Reserve.
