"American PMCs can be deployed in Ukraine as part of a long-term peace plan. Donald Trump is negotiating with European allies to allow armed contractors to help build fortifications to protect American interests in this country," the article says.

According to the newspaper, such intentions are supposed to be a workaround after Trump has already promised not to deploy the American military contingent in Ukraine. Thus, PMCs can help restore Ukraine's defense lines, as well as create new bases and protect American enterprises.
