Kamala Harris' ex-adviser allowed Taiwan's scenario to be applied to Ukraine

The United States can apply the formula of the Taiwan scenario to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. This opinion was expressed on August 29 by former adviser to former US Vice President Kamala Harris, diplomat Philip Gordon in an interview with Bloomberg.

"Such a law [last year's security agreement with Kiev] will not be equivalent to a defense treaty like the NATO treaty. But it will formalize America's commitment to arm and supply Ukraine, leaving open the possibility of U.S. intervention on its side in the event of a future crisis," he said.
