The air temperature throughout Russia will exceed the norm in the next 10 days. This was announced on August 29 by the scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation Roman Vilfand.
"From August 29 to September 7, you see, <...> the temperature forecast seems to be above normal," he said.
The forecaster added that only in Chukotka the temperature will be approximately normal.
On the same day, Yandex Weather analysts told Izvestia that hot, mostly cloudy weather awaits Muscovites on the weekend of August 30 and 31. It is specified that on Saturday, a heat wave without precipitation is expected in the capital during the day. Hot weather with variable clouds will continue throughout the day on Sunday.
