Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of Russia, Executive Secretary of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum, and Ulziisaykhana Enkhtuvshin, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to Russia, met in Moscow. They discussed promising areas of cooperation between the countries, including in the context of interaction on key business platforms.

"Bilateral relations between Russia and Mongolia have entered a qualitatively new development trajectory that meets modern challenges. Cooperation on the forum track is one of the ways to strengthen ties. We consider the WEF as an effective tool for the practical implementation of major joint projects in the fields of energy, infrastructure and logistics, and we look forward to the Mongolian delegation to work productively at the upcoming Forum. I am convinced that, based on a solid foundation of friendship and mutual respect, Russia and Mongolia have great prospects for further deepening multifaceted cooperation," Kobyakov stressed.

The composition of the Mongolian delegation and the formats of cooperation within the framework of the WEF were discussed at the meeting.

"Prime Minister Gombozhavyn Zandanshatar will lead Mongolia's delegation to the upcoming Eastern Economic Forum. We hope that the participation of a representative delegation will allow us to reach new agreements and strengthen our bilateral cooperation," Ulziisaykhany Enkhtuvshin said.

Separately, the parties discussed the prospects for cooperation at other major forum venues, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Russian Energy Week.
