- Zelensky promised to respond to Hungary's entry ban for the commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has promised to respond to the ban on entry to Hungary for the commander of the Ukrainian military unit responsible for the attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline. Zelensky announced this on August 28 in his Telegram channel.
The head of the Kiev regime expressed dissatisfaction with Budapest's decision to ban entry to "an ethnic Hungarian and a citizen of Ukraine."
"I have instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to find out all the facts and react accordingly," the Ukrainian leader said.
Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto announced on August 22 that the Druzhba oil pipeline, which supplies Russian oil to Hungary and Slovakia, was again attacked by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). As a result of the incident, oil supplies to Hungary were suspended. Later, on August 28, it became known that the oil supply through the Druzhba pipeline to Slovakia had resumed.
Later, on August 28, Szijjarto said that Hungary had banned the commander of the Ukrainian military unit responsible for the attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline from entering the country and the territory of the Schengen area. The minister also promised to respond to all those who "encroach on the energy security and sovereignty" of his country.
