The Air defense forces eliminated the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the Kursk region

Air defense systems have eliminated one drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the sky over the Kursk region. This was announced on August 27 by the Russian Defense Ministry.

"One Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle of an airplane type was destroyed over the territory of the Kursk region by air defense systems on duty," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the attack attempt was stopped around 17:00 Moscow time.

A unit of the Dnepr group of forces has hit more than 20 units of enemy military equipment in a month.

On the night of August 26, air defense systems destroyed and intercepted 43 UAVs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the regions of Russia. It was noted that five Ukrainian UAVs were eliminated over the Volgograd region, two drones over the Belgorod and Kursk regions, four over the territory of the Bryansk region, three over the Orel and Pskov regions.
