Relations between Russia and China are currently a priority topic for Moscow, and therefore the upcoming visit of Russian leader Vladimir Putin to China will be unprecedented. This was announced on August 27 by Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation.

"Putin's absolutely unprecedented visit to China will take place, for which preparations are actively underway," Peskov stressed.

The Russian president will travel to China for a four-day visit, during which large-scale negotiations are planned between the delegations of the two countries.

"We are preparing for this visit, the president is preparing for this visit. Russian-Chinese contacts at the highest level, as well as international contacts on the sidelines of this visit, are always extremely important and are always a priority topic for us," the Kremlin spokesman told reporters.

In addition, Peskov noted that Putin is actively preparing for the Eastern Economic Forum - 2025 (EEF-2025) in Vladivostok. According to him, the head of state will be in Vladivostok on September 5, when a plenary session will be held at the WEF.
