On August 27, US President Donald Trump called for criminal prosecution of American entrepreneur and billionaire George Soros for supporting protests in the country.
"George Soros and his wonderful son, a radical leftist, should be charged under the RICO act for supporting violent protests and more throughout the United States of America," Trump wrote on his page on the Truth Social network.
According to the president, Soros and his team have caused great harm to the United States.
In January, then-President Joe Biden awarded Soros the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Later, entrepreneur and billionaire Elon Musk called the award to Soros a travesty.
