Cargo ship and barge collided in Vologda region

The North-Western Transport Prosecutor's Office has organized an investigation into the collision of ships in the Vologda region. This was announced on August 27 by the press service of the department in the Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary data, on August 26, 2025, a cargo ship Volga-Don 99 and a barge collided in the waters of the Sheksna River between the villages of Kurikaevo and Rodino," the report said.

There are no casualties, and there has been no oil spill. The circumstances of the incident are being established.
