In the United States, police arrested seven people after they occupied the office of Microsoft President Brad Smith during protests over the company's ties to the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). This was reported on August 27 by the Associated Press (AP), citing sources.

The article clarifies that among those arrested were both current and former Microsoft employees. It is emphasized that while some protesters were arrested inside the organization's headquarters, another group continued to protest outside the building.

According to the newspaper, the demands of the protesting group include severing the company's relations with the Israeli side, stopping the provision of technological services to the country, as well as paying reparations to the Palestinians.

On June 20, the Iranian Army confirmed an attack on Microsoft's office in the city of Beersheba in southern Israel, explaining this by the corporation's cooperation with the Israeli authorities. It was clarified that such aiding of the company to the Israeli regime "has a price."
