Zenit beat Orenburg in the match of the third round of the Russian Cup

Zenit St. Petersburg football Club (FC) defeated Orenburg in the match of the third round of the group stage of the Russian Cup. The match took place on August 26 and ended with a score of 5:3.

The St. Petersburg team featured forwards Maxim Glushenkov (2nd and 56th minutes) and Mateo Casserra (43rd), as well as midfielder Alexander Erokhin (12th) and defender Douglas Santos (22nd). Midfielder Vladan Buranje (24th), defender Alexey Tataev (32nd) and forward Atsamaz Revazov (66th) scored for Orenburg.

Thus, Zenit, with nine points, is in first place in Group A, and the Orenburg team with three points is in fourth place. The club from St. Petersburg will face Akhmat Grozny in the next match, Orenburg, in turn, will play Rubin.
