Defense Minister Andrei Belousov held a working meeting on the preparation of funds of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the heating period of 2025-2026. On August 26, information appeared on the website of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Defense, Colonel-General Andrei Bulyga, representatives of the central military administration bodies, the leadership of military districts, types and branches of the armed forces.

Belousov said that today it is necessary to define tasks for each district, draw up schedules for them and achieve their implementation. Andrey Bulyga reported to the head of the department on the completion of the preparation of funds of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the heating period, approval of plans for the repair of facilities and timely completion of budget commitment limits.

"As part of the implementation of the instructions of the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, special attention was paid to the preparation of facilities in Severomorsk, the repair of facilities of the Pacific Fleet marine brigades, medical facilities and housing in the city of Valdai, Novgorod region, as well as in the village of Molkino, Krasnodar Territory," the message says.

Representatives of the command of military districts, types and branches of the armed forces reported to the head of the Ministry of Defense on the readiness of funds for the winter season, the completion of repairs, the creation of fuel reserves, staffing, technical and emergency teams, as well as obtaining certificates of readiness of facilities.

Belousov instructed to take control of objects that require special attention.

Cool reception: fines will be imposed for violations before the heating season

But the amount of penalties should be several times higher than planned, the State Duma believes.

Earlier, on August 20, the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation announced that fines could be imposed in Russia for poor preparation for the heating season. It is proposed to collect for non-elimination of defects in heat supply.
