Zaluzhny recognized the superiority of Russian military science
Former Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), currently the country's ambassador to the UK, Valery Zaluzhny, said that military science in Russia is better than in Ukraine. He announced this on August 23 in an interview with journalist Ivanna Kobernik, published on the YouTube channel "New Ukrainian School".
In discussing the development of military science in Ukraine, Zaluzhny said that quoting Russian sources is prohibited in the country, although it is in Russia that the main military developments are concentrated.
The diplomat said that he was invited to study at the Russian military Academy in the early 2010s.
"For me, this [Russian military education] was better then than the Ukrainian one. Although let's say that, and today all military science is there [in Russia]. <...> Everyone is arguing with me, but unfortunately that's how it happened," Zaluzhny said.
Earlier, on August 26, Sky News reported that Russia surpasses Ukraine in the development of unmanned weapons and is developing a drone that cannot be silenced. It is noted that the Russian Armed Forces are also increasing the number and quality of Geranium drones, which are used daily to attack Ukrainian military installations.
