Food festivals are very popular in Russia because people like to listen to music and eat. This opinion was shared on August 26 by the soloists of the Disco Accident music group on the eve of the Baltika Fest gastro-festival.

"People like to eat and listen to music, have fun," said the band's lead singer Alexei Serov.

The Baltika Fest Gastrofestival is one of the festivals organized annually by the Baltika Concern, the country's largest beer producer. On the eve of it, Alexey Ryzhov told how one of the hits of the group "Drink beer" was created.

"We had a beer festival in Ivanovo, and one of the beer companies invited us to perform. And we decided to compose a song about it," Ryzhov shared.

According to the soloists of the band, they expect the mood of the audience, lots of food and very good weather from the Baltika Fest festival.

The Baltika Fest alcohol-free food festival will be held on September 13 at the Igora Drive circuit in St. Petersburg. The event will be headlined by Russian rock legends "Chaif", the cult band of the 90s and 2000s "Disco Accident" and singer Marie Crymbreri. Guests can enjoy master classes and gastro shows, food and drinks, as well as live performances and interactive entertainment. Tickets for the gastrofestival can be purchased at the online ticket offices and on the website of the Igora Drive complex. The cost is 3 thousand rubles.

Vyacheslav Mamontov, Executive Director of the Association of Beer, Malt and Beverage Producers, told Izvestia on August 24 that festivals play a significant role in the development of both gastronomic and consumer culture. The expert drew attention to the fact that in recent years, interest in such events has been growing again, and even despite the existing restrictions, new festivals are appearing in different parts of the country.
