The Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation proposes to make all budget places for the main programs of higher medical education targeted. This was announced on August 26 by the press service of the Ministry.

"It is assumed that all budget places in the main professional educational programs of higher medical education and higher pharmaceutical education will become targeted, students will be required to conclude a contract on targeted training," the ministry's press service quoted TASS as saying.

The Ministry also proposed to oblige target doctors to pay compensation in three times the amount for refusing to complete training.
