The court arrested the fourth person involved in the death of a football player after a fight.

The fourth person involved in beating football player Arseniy Eroshevich to death in Shchelkovo has been arrested. This was reported on August 25 in the Telegram channel of the Prosecutor's office of the Moscow region.

"A fourth participant in the conflict has been arrested in Shchelkovo, as a result of which a 20-year—old man was killed," the report says.

According to the position of the Shchelkovsky City Prosecutor's office, the court detained the 32-year-old defendant for causing serious harm to health, resulting in death by negligence until October 17, 2025.

On August 23, the footballer's sister said that Eroshevich died in the hospital. She clarified that she found out about the death of a relative when they came to visit him. The criminal case was reclassified in accordance with Part 4 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Intentional infliction of serious harm to health, resulting in the death of a person by negligence").
