Former Vesti presenter Yuri Rostov has died.

Yuri Rostov, the former presenter of the Vesti program, has died in the United States. This was announced to RBC on August 24 by TV journalist, director and producer Mikhail Degtyar.

In 1991, Yuri Rostov, along with Svetlana Sorokina, began hosting an eight-hour edition of the Vesti program.

In the spring of 1993, the journalist became a correspondent for Vesti in the United States. In 1997, he worked as a broker in New York, having quit his job as a Russian TV anchor in the United States. Then he moved to work as the head of the news department at the WMNB Broadcasting Corporation from New Jersey, serving mainly the Russian-speaking market.
