In early November, Russians will have a three-day working week. The information follows from the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation on the postponement of the weekend.

According to the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation, the weekend will be November 3 and 4, as well as November 8 and 9.

The document notes that the week before the holidays will be six days, as National Unity Day is celebrated on November 4. The holiday weekend on Monday was postponed from Saturday, November 1.

The holidays will coincide with the end of the autumn school holidays. According to the recommendations of the Ministry of Education, they will last from October 25 to November 2.

On August 3, the State Duma proposed to postpone part of the New Year holidays to May. Sergei Mironov, the head of the Fair Russia For Truth faction, also supported the idea of making September 1 a day off for parents of schoolchildren to help them.
