The Russian Armed Forces launched a group strike with Iskanders and Geraniums at the points of deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Russian military personnel launched a group and air strike using Iskander, FAB-500 tactical missile system (OTRK) missiles and Geran drones at the temporary deployment sites of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk People's Republic. Footage of the enemy's destruction was published on August 23 by the Russian Ministry of Defense.

As a result of the strike, the Ukrainian Armed Forces lost four multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), three tanks, up to seven armored reconnaissance vehicles, up to 22 infantry fighting vehicles, four electronic warfare stations, one command post and an ammunition depot.

In addition, more than 600 enemy fighters were killed.
