There are 16 cities in Russia with the shortest names consisting of three letters. This was reported on August 23 in Rosreestr.

According to the agency, which RIA Novosti cites, these cities include Asha, Bor, Bui, Guy, Bottom, Zeya, Neya, Ob, Osa, Okha, Rezh, Sim, Ufa, Uyar, Shuya, Yuzha.

A total of 1,242 cities are registered in Russia, reports "Газета.Ru ".
