The ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol have been opened for the entry of foreign ships
The seaports of Berdyansk in the Zaporizhia region and Mariupol in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) have been added to the list of foreign vessels open for entry. The relevant decree was posted on the official Internet portal of legal information on August 22.
The order was approved by the Russian government on August 21 and signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin on the same day.
On June 30, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian authorities were assessing the situation in each new region and monitoring how key projects were being implemented. At the meeting, the head of state proposed discussing the need for additional measures to support new regions and stressed that 41 federal agencies, 26 state-owned companies and 82 regional bosses were providing assistance in their development.
