Two boys drowned in the Amur River in the Khabarovsk Territory while fishing. This was reported on August 22 in the press service of the regional prosecutor's office.

"Two boys, aged 12 and 14, drowned while fishing in the Amur River channel. Due to the strong current, the children were swept under the water," the Telegram channel said.

The incident was reported to the authorities by their underage friend, who turned to adults for help. Currently, law enforcement agencies and rescuers are actively conducting a search and rescue operation.
