The level of trust of Russian citizens in Putin was almost 80%
According to a survey conducted from August 11 to 17, the level of trust of Russians in Russian President Vladimir Putin is 79.2%. This was reported on August 22 on the official website of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion (VTsIOM).
"The president's approval rating <...> amounted to 76.5% (+1.4 percentage points in a week). <...> 79.2% of respondents answered positively to a direct question about trust in Vladimir Putin," the article says.
It is noted that the study was conducted among 1.6 thousand Russians. In addition, 51.6% of respondents positively assessed the work of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, 51.0% - the activities of the Russian Government.
In January, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Russian president enjoys enormous popular support. Then VTsIOM and FOM presented the results of surveys that demonstrated the level of trust in the Russian leader at 78.3 and 79%.
