- Zakharova spoke about the large number of people who want to move to Russia from the West
Many citizens of Western countries apply for documents to move to Russia. This was announced on August 21 by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
According to Zakharova, the Russian Foreign Ministry is actively involved in interdepartmental work to implement the decree of Russian President Vladimir Putin on providing humanitarian support to people who share traditional Russian spiritual and moral values. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry noted that in their countries these people face "the imposition of neoliberal pseudo-values," while in Russia they find respect for family traditions and human dignity.
"Our embassies and consulates regularly receive applications from foreign citizens and issue visas to those who have decided to connect their lives with Russia. And there are quite a few of them — just over the past year, citizens of Germany, France, the USA, Italy, Australia, Canada and a number of other countries have received documents," she wrote on her Telegram channel.
Ambassador to Oslo Nikolai Korchunov said on June 27 that the Russian Embassy in Norway quite often receives applications from foreigners who wish to move to Russia. According to him, not only citizens of Norway, but also other countries who live in the country apply to the embassy. In addition, visa applications are also being received from people who have already decided on the date of entry into Russia.
