The State Duma proposed not to hire relocants to work in government agencies

Relocators, if they want to return to Russia, should not be able to work in the civil service and in state-owned companies. This was announced on August 21 by Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin.

The parliamentarian suggested that in the near future, "escaped representatives of show business" may join the ranks of returning citizens.

"We tell them in advance: don't expect to meet with open arms," Volodin wrote on his Telegram channel.

Volodin also stated that "a person who has betrayed his country, committed a despicable act, cannot be a state and municipal employee, work in state-owned companies." He also called on private organizations to "think about who they hire" and assess how this will affect the attitude towards those who "sacrifice their lives to protect Russia."
