The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC, part of Rostec State Corporation) has handed over another batch of new Su-35S multi-role fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces (VKS). This was announced on August 21 by the Rostec press service.

It is noted that the aircraft have passed a full cycle of factory tests, were accepted by the technical staff and tested in various operating modes by pilots of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

"As part of the implementation of the targets set by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation for the supply of weapons and equipment to the troops, the crews of the Russian Aerospace Forces have accepted Su-35S aircraft, which will then go to the borders to fulfill their tasks, as well as to protect the state border," said the fighter pilot.

It is noted that this model of fighter is capable of performing a number of tasks, including covering aircraft and ground facilities.

"The Su-35S is one of the most highly efficient combat aircraft in the world, it is armed with long—range air–to–air and air—to-surface guided missiles," said Oleg Yevtushenko, Rostec's Executive Director.

According to him, new aircraft are already at the production stage for the next deliveries.

"The production of high—demand military products within the framework of the state defense order is one of our top priorities," said Vadim Badekha, General Director of the UAC.

Earlier, on August 16, the head of Rostec, Sergey Chemezov, said that foreign partners were showing interest in the Russian Su-57 fighter, and they had specific orders. According to him, many countries are engaged in the creation of fifth-generation aircraft, including the United States and Russia.
